Wondering

Quote of the Day:

"Why does every black person in the movies have to play a servant? How about a black person walking up the steps of a court house carrying a briefcase?" ~ Myrna Loy, American actress, born this day in 1905, challenging MGM bosses in the 1930s

Makes me wonder what she would say now.

  1. A woman before her time. I can't wait to see the new film, "The Help".

  2. PonyGirl, my mother was telling me about it. She grew up in Jackson, and one of her best friends lived next door to the author. It should be good, if they kept the movie true to the book.
