Gratitude Monday: School Break

Today i am overwhelmingly grateful for the Mardi Gras school break.

Two days of not having to get on the road.

Two days to prepare for the Valentine's Day driving.

And Bigger Girl has just expressed her extreme gratitude for life, onions, and lava lamps.

Wow, i have an interesting kid, another reason to be grateful.

    Leah, you can't cook Cajun without them, you need to come taste for yourself.

    Older boy has three lava lamps in the closet--we hide them from his younger brother who has a habit of breaking anything he touches and those are a messy clean-up.
