A to Z Challenge: K is for Kangaroos

Because i'm going to start bottle raising kangaroos for the local zoo instead of kittens for the shelters.

Joke, of course.  Although i had a friend who, when her dad was stationed in Australia, did bottle raise a kangaroo.  Her mother used to yell at her to "get that overgrown jackrabbit back downstairs!"

So, without further ado, news about and pictures of kittens.  Our first litter of five have all been adopted.  The second litter of two have been pre-adopted, and will go to their new homes once they are "fixed."

That leaves us with BlueBoy, Avian, and Vosve, the three found in a wall behind the air conditioning unit at a pawn shop, Skorj, JetStar, and Iris, whose mama got run over, Ame, who was left behind when mama moved all the other kittens, and the four as yet unnamed kittens whose mama simply rejected them.

The littlest ones won't hold still for pictures, yet, when i take them out of their little den.  In the den, the light is too dim to get a good picture.  Soon, though.

  5. Oh those little bundles of fluff. I love black cats. And grey. And that little ginger paw up in the air begs to be kissed. Give them all a little snuggle for me, please. I wish them fine homes and long, sweet lives.
