Six Sentence Story: No Snow Job

We are having adventures, and rain, but it's a swamp, so don't expect snow; and none of my adventures are a snow job, either.

#2 Son has once again swerved in order to not be hit by someone, eaten a median, and totalled a car, with the person in question getting away, this time even when chased by the police; as #2 Son has only liability insurance, he is without transport for the time being and has had to move back in, with Mikey, so that he can be closer to work.

The kittens have gone up for adoption, and one has already gone to her forever home, with one of Little Girl's friends, and we've almost run out of kittens up at the shelter, we've had so many adoptions!

Work at the bakery has been beyond their wildest imaginings, having done more business in the last week than they did in their first entire Christmas season years ago and setting new sales records almost daily.

Yesterday morning there were 20 people waiting at the door, and we sold out of the cakes we had on hand ready for walk-ins (as opposed to pre-orders) in 30 minutes, so before we left last night, we'd frosted everything in the store except what still needed to cool down, and there's no telling but that we may completely sell out.

Tonight is the candlelight Christmas Eve service, and Sweetie will be singing in the choir, but before that i have work at Ms. P's house, he has a job for a friend, Little Girl will be heading out to Grandma and Grandpa's house a bit early, and we will juggle 3 cars among 5 people somehow; i expect some semblance of Christmas peace to descend soon after the New Year!

Linking up with Uncharted Blog and Six Sentence Stories, where the cue is Snow.
