Adoptable Feline Friday and Friendly Fill-Ins

Feline Friday is hosted by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is..
1) post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (They may be silly or cute)

2) go to Steve's page, linked above, then on the menu bar click on the Feline Friday tab to get the code

3) paste the code under your cat picture

4) add your name and link
That’s all there is to it! Be sure to check back every so often and visit all the Feline Friday bloggers. Also, please leave a nice comment on their blogs. Nasty comments will be deleted!

All four of our fosters have found homes.  This does not mean, however, that we don't have plenty of lovely cats and kittens still available for adoption.

We'll give snuggles for a good home!

We play almost non-stop!

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by McGuffy Ann Morris of McGuffy's Reader. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

My fill-ins for the statements are underlined:

Week 30: December 2, 2016

1. I have a hard time finding a gift for __________.

2. I have no problem finding a gift for __________.

3. One of the best gifts I ever gave was __________________.

4. One of the best gifts I ever received was __________________.

1. I have a hard time finding a gift for Grandma and Grandpa.  Daughter-in-law Becky summed it up when she and #2 Son were looking for a gift for Grandpa's birthday.  "What does he like besides Jesus, pistachio nuts, and his favorite college football team?"  That's really about all he likes, and she likes painting and scrapbooking and making things and singing.  They both have everything they need or want, or could go get it themselves.  It's very challenging to come up with ideas.

2. I have no problem finding a gift for my children, because they want cash so they can go get whatever it is they want that i'd have no idea how to find.

3. One of the best gifts i ever gave was when i sold my engagement ring so i could buy Sweetie an amp he wanted.  He was floored when it came because he knew we didn't have the money for it.

4. One of the best gifts i ever received was when i was not feeling well and the children, rather young at the time, let me take a nap and then brought me "dinner".  It was some of every cereal we had in the house mixed in one bowl with milk on it, and it was noxious and i ate every scrap because of the love it represented.

  1. Such cute cats :-) I'm glad that they found homes. There's so many adorable cats out there that need good homes.

  2. The top two look very similar to two that we adopted from a shelter many years ago. As I have probably said we had to rehome them in the countryside when our younger daughter proved to be allergic to cats. TBH I think our two little boy cats preferred country life to city life.

  3. such teeny tiny babies! I wish Lucy would accept other cats in the house- I'd do the same as you and foster babies until they had a home to call their own! Have a lovely day!

  7. Very cute kitties, the peach and white one looks like my Phoebe. Thanks for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I love that you sold your ring to get your hubby a gift, like a modern version of The Gift of the Magi. Have a nice weekend!

  8. That was sweet of the kids to try to fix you food. Have a great weekend.

  9. Big kudos to the person who thought up the hammock-towel. More playing and sleeping area for the adorables! Yup, cash works best for kids. It was so sweet of you to sell your ring to buy an amp for your husband and for the kids to do their best to help out. That deserves a big "Awww."

  10. The little black ones remind me of when we picked out our Felix from the shelter 16 years ago. He recently passed and we still miss him.

Your answers were sweet. Pilch92 15andmeowing had exactly the same idea I had about the selling of your ring to buy your husband the amp resembled a modern day Gift of the Magi.

  11. Awww those kitties are beautiful!

That is a really sweet gift from your children. :)

I bet the grand-folks would love pictures of their children and grand-children. You can never have too many pictures of your babies. :)

That was a great sacrifice that you made for the love of your life. That is what love is made of.

"NASA announces finding an arsenic based life form on Earth, 2010"....Interesting! I'm going to have to look that up.

    Have a blessed week!

  12. Your answers are really great, Mimi. Bill would kill me if I sold my ring for an amp, and he is a serious guitar player! However, this reminded me of my favourite Christmas story, The Gift of the Magi, by O. Henry. Hugs.
