For a couple of months, i've been getting mail about Sweetie's Honda, Humphrey.  It seems there is a recall on poor Humphrey, something to do with the airbags exploding.

When the latest missive came, i handed it to Sweetie and told him to call his favorite Honda dealer and ask about making an appointment.  After all, a recall repair costs nothing but can take forever, so you have to make an appointment and plan to be there a while.

After the call he said, "I'll take it in on January 2, and by the way, it's only the passenger airbag that's affected, if it blows up, it can kill you."

Then i guess i will be driving when we are both in the car until it's repaired, right? i asked, barely holding a straight face.

He looked at me, and we both laughed as he said, "Oh, so I see how it is now!  You want to be rid of me!"

Boudreaux be braggin' 'bout how he can teach anyone to drive in jes' ten minute time.

"How you goin' be doin' dat?" Clothile ax.

"Mais," say Boudreaux, "it be a crash course!"
