Wordless Wednesday: Plants Don't Know What's Next!

When the weather changes very quickly from warm to cold to warm again, the trees don't know what to do!


It was leafless, then bloomed, then started shedding blooms, all in about a week!

  3. It's all a little mixed up this year, we have days in the 70's followed by days in the teens, then 40's and now back up to near 80 again today. I sometimes think it was easier to just adapt to long term cold winters when living in Dakota. Your poor tree! Sure was pretty all abloom though! :-)

  5. That is like our trees in early Spring when the weather starts to warm up, so they bud. And then 2 days later we get a blizzard and the buds freeze.

  6. Sad about your lovely tree. Back to back late Frosts killed our huge potted ficus Benjamina one year.
