Awww Monday is hosted by Sandee, of Comedy Plus.

Our newest pastor, Pastor J, has always been a dog person.  His wife, not so much.  She held out against having pets, telling him he could have a wife or a pet, but not both.

Then they moved here and there was a flood.  Lots of animals were displaced, some of them losing their way and having to be rehomed when their owners couldn't be located.

While Pastor J was working on one house, mucking out the moldy carpet and wet sheetrock, a sweet pup wandered up to that house, begging for love and food.  He couldn't resist, and for some reason, neither could Ms. A, his wife.  Ms. A is actually finding herself smitten.

This sweet girl is now a part of his family, and is in training to be a comfort dog.

She never met a stranger, and this is the only time she's still.
She's always in motion when not in a lap.

  10. You know as well as I do: animals get it. They are genuine and love without reservation or condition. And, they are easy to love, once you let them in. Hugs.
(I wish I could get notifications when you post. You don't show up in my Reader very often. I try to follow you back when you comment. But, you are a favourite. I suspect we are a lot alike.)
