Vacation Thankfulness

There's a lot for which to be thankful right now.

This week,

all the work got done before i left town

i made it safely to the Mobile area to meet up with Di

Sweetie had an accident that was not his fault and no one was hurt

our rental car was recalled and Hertz handled it well, making sure we got a free upgrade for the trouble of having to switch cars

we all made it safely to our meet-up destination

there is a pie shop in the area

sunrises and sunsets at the beach are amazing

we had fun yesterday, with lots of talk and laughter

the condo is beautiful and we are so comfortable

     gumbo night was a success!

Think of some things for which you are thankful and let the world know by linking up to Ten Things of Thankful.

  1. It's so good to be back with you Mimi. As I told you yesterday, I'm just slowly getting back to my computer and as far as my blog, that will take some time since I lost everything and I mean everything. But I just glad to be back with my friends. See ya.

  10. very cool TToT... it's always fun when there are things that might have been bad, turning out 'not so bad' and seeing hopes (for a great vacay) fulfilled.

  11. I can never decide what I prefer: sunrise or sunset. I appreciate both now more than ever. Also, love all these facts and dates. I especially recognize the one about the first kidney transplant. I wrote a speech on transplant, when I was in eighth grade, and am especially interested because I myself and my younger brother benefited from the transplant thing. Yay for science. Enjoy your vacation.

  12. Oh, my. I had to remind myself I was signing on to celebrate feeling thankful. Just for a minute there around pie and a beach I was struck by a small pang of jealousy!
