L for Loving our Prize! Feline Friday and Friendly Fill-Ins

Feline Friday is hosted by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is..

1) post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (They may be silly or cute)

2) go to Steve's page, linked above, then on the menu bar click on the Feline Friday tab to get the code

3) paste the code under your cat picture

4) add your name and link

That’s all there is to it! Be sure to check back every so often and visit all the Feline Friday bloggers. Also, please leave a nice comment on their blogs. Nasty comments will be deleted!

Last week, we won a prize!  The wonderful Ellen of 15andMeowing picked my name, and she sent these cool prizes for the cats.

Our prize, an Easter mat and catnip eggs!

Tripod SissyCat didn't even want to wait for me to get it open!

Tripod SissyCat is in love!

Dansig and Link want to see what we got.

It's a good thing there's one for each!

Mikey seemed unsure at first.

A bit of further investigation...

Mikey says, Mine!  All Mine!

*********************************************

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by McGuffy Ann Morris of McGuffy's Reader. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

My fill-ins for the statements are underlined:

Week 49: April 14, 2017

1. An Easter (or Passover) tradition I have is _____________.

2. My favorite flavor of ice cream is _____________.

3. One of my favourite Easter/Passover memories is _____________________________.

4. My favourite Spring flower is _____________________.

  1. An Easter tradition i have is seeing how many people still know the ancient Easter morning greeting.  The tradition was that one person would say, "He is risen!" and the other would respond, "He is risen, indeed!"  Many church people today have forgotten, but i like to keep up this tradition.

  1. My favorite flavor of ice cream is any of the coconut milk "ice creams" that i can find in the stores.  When you eat vegan, you take what you can find!

  1. One of my favorite Easter memories is the time i decorated the Easter baskets for my younger brothers.  They were over the top, i bought more candy than they should have had in a month of Sundays!

  1. My favorite Spring flower is the geranium.  Actually, i like all the flowers, but i mention the geranium because we have a pet geranium and i haven't managed to kill it yet!

The pet geranium that has survived!

  4. Your kitties are adorable, especially the black and white one. :)

I like that Easter greeting. I don't know that I have ever heard it as a greeting at church.

I bet your brothers really enjoyed their Easter baskets that year!

Your geranium is a pretty color. I love red. :)

Well, now, Spring Hula Hooping Day...I hope this fever leaves me soon so I can give that a go today! I relocated our hula hoop a few days ago. :)

Wow! I hope we never have hail that weighs over 2 pounds! I think I'd die of a heart attack before it ever got to me.

Have a blessed Easter and weekend. :)

  10. Your furkids certainly did enjoy their prize gifts from Ellen! She has made some wonderful cat toys! Two of mine love catnip and two are disinterested. Making up Easter baskets is fun, we always had a treasure hunt with silly rhyming clues to find our baskets as children, and we continued that tradition with our own kids. I wish they were still that size now! Geraniums are bright and beautiful and very sturdy, they even do well in our dry hot sun if they get watered.
