Playing and Playing; Six Sentences and a Good Fence

"Sometimes I wish you could get away from your mother now!" she said impatiently, watching him pack his instrument in the school band room.

"Mom's not so bad once you get to know her," he said.  "Besides, I get why she's so big on having me be a musician."

"Well, that's not your gift, it was your dad's gift, and as soon as you can get to college you can run for that new life I know you want:  Charge!"

"Oh, I doubt it will be anything like 'Charge,' more like, 'Crawl forward and keep your head down!'"

As they laughed, she repeated, "Charge!" and ran outside into the beautiful spring day.

Linking up with Uncharted Blog and Six Sentence Stories, where the cue is Charge.

Gosia, of Looking for Identity, has taken over Good Fences, and it's now Good Fences Around The World.  Post a picture of a fence or gate, link back to her blog, and go visit others to see what interesting fences there are out in this big world.

There's a neighborhood with a playground that includes a large play house, and a happy little fence borders the walkway to the front door.

This would have been a great place to play when i was a girl.
