Tricks (Six Sentence Story) and Good Fences

(Because some people like Blogger and some like WordPress, i am putting the same content at both.  If you would prefer to read this on the other site, it is linked here.)

"Have you seen all the neat tricks they show online?  Life hacks or something, some of them are really cool!"

"Oh, yes, I've seen some of them, but they are hardly life transforming."

"Come on, you believe in recycling, haven't you always wanted to have dozens of uses for tea bags before you have to throw them away?"

"No, I'd rather find dozens of uses for hundred dollar bills!"

"I'd call you a party pooper, but instead I have to admit, me, too!"

Linking up with Denise at Girlie On The Edge Blog, where she hosts Six Sentence Stories, and the cue is Transform.

Gosia, of Looking for Identity, has taken over Good Fences, and it's now Good Fences Around The World.  Post a picture of a fence or gate, link back to her blog, and go visit others blog to see what interesting fences there are out in this big world.

The other day, i was surprised as i rounded a corner and saw this fence:

  1. Humorous SSS!
Finding uses for $100 bills would be interesting.
I rarely click on a "life hack." I prefer to not receive more of the same kind of social media bait.
The Mountain Dance and Folk Festival in NC sounds like fun.

  2. Some life hacks are useful and practical but not all. Very seldom we get to see wooden fences, mostly are metal fences.

  3. Only dozens of uses for $100 bills? Sadly lacking in ambition there. I suspect I could find hundreds.

  6. Mimi,

I'd take a dozen $100 bills or more if you'd care to give it to me to find ways to recycle? :)

I like trying to find usefulness in our stuff before tossing but sometimes it's just useless. The one thing I generally get the most repeated use from are Ziploc bags.

The Mountain Dance & Folk Festival in Asheville, North Carolina might be a wash out this weekend. The forecast is expected to be purrty wet tomorrow.

  8. That fence is gorgeous and sure keeps people from peeking inside. I could do with some $100.00 bills. Have a great day.

  19. This is such a sweet little six! Hacks are easy when you watch someone else do them otherwise patience and time are a must.
