Happy Place (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

(Because some people like Blogger and some like WordPress, i am putting the same content at both.  If you would prefer to read this on the other site, it is linked here.)

***********************************

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

Little Girlie's happy spot is her bed:

She is close to the edge here, so after the pic i moved her closer to the wall.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. If it wasn’t for ___________________, I ___________________.

2. ____________________ before ________________________.

3. _________ is my preferred method of communication.

4. You can’t buy _________.

1. If it wasn’t for books, I would live in a much narrower world.

2. Think before speaking.

3. Conversing face to face is my preferred method of communication (so you can catch tone of voice and nonverbal cues you miss otherwise that might affect the meaning of what's said).

4. You can’t buy friends worth having.

  2. She looks sweet and comfy in her bed.
I agree with #3 in your fill ins. Things said online can easily be taken the wrong way, whereas tone of voice portrays accurately what is meant.

  9. Little Girlie is a pretty kitty. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Very wise to think before speaking. And I would be the same without books. Have a nice weekend! XO

  10. I totallt agree with you and EC on the book front, but the written word is my medium of choice.
And I totally admire how you always have all those holidays, celebrations and birthdays. Most of the people and fests I've never herard of before.

  11. I really probably should pay more attention to your second fill in than I normally do. I often speak before thinking. Sometimes it is funny. Most times it is not. Have a blessed week.

  12. That bed looks so cozy! My kitties are the same way, often hanging off the edges of things so that I have to move them to a safer place. And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! You are so right with #1. Books allow our minds to expand, taking us through all sorts of new experiences. Have a beautiful day!
