It's a Stretch (Six Sentence Story) and Good Fences

(Because some people like Blogger and some like WordPress, i am putting the same content at both.  If you would prefer to read this on the other site, it is linked here.)

"What did you think you were doing, taking on that many assignments?"

"Well, I admit it's a stretch, but I think we can do it."

"You think we can do it!  Here's a news flash, honey, you have your hand in a brace, your back is getting worse, and what in the world would I do if something happens and we can't meet the commitments, or worse, something bad happens to you?  I would be sunk!"

"You wouldn't be sunk, my life insurance is paid up, you could retire and go party!"

Linking up with Denise at Girlie On The Edge Blog, where she hosts Six Sentence Stories, and the cue is Flash.
