Just a Meander, a Random and Happy Tuesday Post

(Because some people like Blogger and some like WordPress, i am putting the same content at both.  If you would prefer to read this on the other site, it is linked here.)

It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus.

In children news, Bigger Girl is enjoying her car, but she hasn’t quite decided on a name yet.  My suggestion of Marvin (after Marvin the Martian) didn’t seem to thrill her.

Not Bigger Girl's car, but a reasonable representation (her paint is more faded, though).
Doesn't it look like a Marvin to you?

Dr. D is going out of town for a week.  We had a nice list of stuff to get through before that happens.

Yes, it all got done, down to coloring her hair and changing the blinker bulb in the truck.

She’s taking the cats, so i don’t have to go over there twice a day to do cat sitting.  What i will be doing is going over there again today to help her get the cats' travel cage into the car she is borrowing.  Wish me luck.

It’s Grandma’s birthday today!

Not Grandma, she quit smoking years ago.

Last Saturday when we were at Michael’s i bought her the gift she wanted right then (a set of paints), and now i only have to think of a Mother’s Day gift.  She doesn’t need any more perfume.

It seems i was supposed to do a retrospective of some sort on my A to Z journey and post it yesterday.  Well,  um, i meandered.  What else can i say, it's how i roll.

Sorry, i don't understand it either.

Hope everyone has a blessed and beautiful Tuesday!

  2. Marvin ... that made me think of Marvin the Paranoid Android from Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy. Maybe not an auspicious name for a car. Happy birthday to Grandma. Enjoy your not-cat-sitting time.

Your daughter will come up with a name at some point and you'll agree with her. They will have a close relationship. You know I've never named a car before.

Wow what a list. Dr. D wears me out. She's a whirlwind.

  8. That picture of a grandma lighting her cigarette! Everyone used to smoke. My grandmother quit after suffering a heart attack. My mom quit so she could go on vacation with us and stay in a non-smoking room. LOL Happy Tuesday!

  13. Happy belated birthday to Grandma! How old did she turn? I'm a little surprised to hear she wanted paints…

Hope you were able to get a lot done on Dr. D's list before she goes out of town. I also hope the lack of cat sitting gives you a well-deserved break and doesn't hurt you financially. :-/
