You Can't Make Me! (Six Sentence Story), Hard to See (Good Fences), Piratical Dilemma (Sammy's Poetry Day), and Brian's Thankful Thursday

No.

No, I won't.

I refuse!

I don't care if it is Talk Like a Pirate Day!  I will not let you dress me up in that silly costume!  I have my dignity, you know.

Somebody save me!

Linking up with Denise at Girlie On The Edge Blog, where she hosts Six Sentence Stories, and the cue is Refuse.  (We tried to get Jezzie to wear her pirate costume to try it out early for Halloween, but she was having none of it.)

Gosia at Looking for Identity has taken over Good Fences, and it's now Good Fences Around The World.  Post a picture of a fence or gate, link back to her blog, and go visit other blogs to see what interesting fences there are out in this big world.

This gate fascinated me.  In spite of the interference of the wires, see if enough detail came through for you to tell why i liked it, as it's rather fancy.

It's Angel Sammy's Poetry Day!  This week's image and my poem:

You may think I'm scary,
I'm a pirate, as you see.
But I am hiding a secret,
Come stand right next to me.

I have a map to my treasure,
And I'll give you part, I swear,
If you can help me read all of
The words I wrote on there!

My hand 'o write's atrocious
And I haven't got a clue,
So be a pal and help me
And I'll keep my word, it's true!

Brian of Brian's Home hosts the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.   It's time to share something for which i am thankful.

This week i am thankful someone pointed out something to me that i did not know.  It could have caused me a big problem, but because i was warned, i think i have resolved it, and i am very glad.
