Of Sweets and Tattoos and Funnies, a Random and Happy Tuesday Post

***********************************

It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus.

Yesterday i had a very unusual day.  For some reason, i was feeling, well, not myself.  A bit light-headed, a bit overtired.  Dr. D even became concerned after i had been there for quite a while.

Dr. D:  You don't look too well!

mimi:  and i don't feel that great, either.

Dr. D:  What's wrong?

mimi:  just a bit, well, odd, like i need to sit down.

Dr. D:  Well, I'm going to send you home early.

mimi:  thank you!

Dr. D:  Right after you run to the store and buy me my ice cream, please.

mimi:

Yep, the woman is all heart, except where her ice cream is concerned, then she's all stomach.

In great news, Little Girl passes her PT test with flying colors!  That means there will be no interruption in her military tuition exemption and other benefits.

She celebrated by getting a new tattoo.  She says this one hurt the most because it was a solid color, and large.

"I've got to stop getting them on my ribs," she noted.  Then she added, "And I've run out of room on my ribs, anyway!"

Well, then, i guess that will be self enforcing.

And now for some funnies a friend sent us:

  1. I hope you are feeling much, much better now.
Icecream straight from the carton spells danger. Walk away. Now.

  2. I also hope you are feeling better. I sometimes eat ice-cream straight from the container, right after I open it. For taste testing purposes, have to make sure it tastes like I'd expect it to. LOVE that final funny, where she said she'd be ready in five minutes and I'm also wondering what will happen with the bike when the car takes off.

  6. The strap on the wheel really cracked us up. As for the skeleton, that should be a dog as we wait on our humans our entire lives. It's always just a minute which turns into hours it seems.
