Emails and Farewells and Funnies, a Random and Happy Tuesday Post

***********************************

It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus.

The way it goes in this house:

Sweetie:  Bye!
mimi:  see you!
Door opens and closes.
Thirty seconds.
Door opens and closes.
Sweetie:  Forgot my keys.  Bye!
mimi:  see you!
Door opens and closes.
Thirty seconds.
Door opens and closes.
Sweetie:  Forgot my wallet.  Bye!
mimi:  see you!
Door opens and closes.
Thirty seconds.
Door opens and closes.
Sweetie:  Forgot my glasses.  Bye!
mimi:  see you!
Door opens and closes.
Thirty seconds.
Door opens and closes.
Sweetie:  Forgot my phone.  Bye!
mimi:
Sweetie:  Aren’t you gonna tell me good-bye?
mimi:  will you just leave already!

Overheard at prayer meeting:

Mr. BA:  I can't find my phone.  We've called it, but we have no idea where it is. I can't think of where I might have left it.
Pastor J:  That reminds me, you asked me to pray for your memory.  I'm going to have to start remembering to do that!

Is it just me, or is the email from Google that i got with the subject line "Help Us Protect You, Security Advice from Google" oxymoronic?

And a few random funnies from Grandma:

Have a fabulous Tuesday, everyone!

  6. Sweetie's forgetfulness makes me smile because sometimes I am like that too, going in and out of the house to get my things. Yes, I too received the same email. I will remember the toilet brush!

  7. All clever sayings. I definitely can identify the forgetfulness in the kitchen. A 180 degree turn and the whole meal can burn up.

I take the mailbox key when I go for a walk. On my way back .... I completely forget to get the mail ... pass it right up.
But I remember I forgot just as I enter the house. I never can figure out why I remember that I forgot. lol

  11. Forgetting something. Me??? Never. Just ask Husband how many times I have called home asking if X thing is at the house, I don't seem to have it with me. Knitting, I rarely forget. Purse, a few times. At least my glasses are fairly obvious if they aren't there. Like, I can't see... Sigh.

Cat. Who is indeed thankful for a roof over my head...
