Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

Link and Dansig are best buddies, you might say brothers from another mother:

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. April is a good time to ___________________

2.This time last year, ___________________.

3. I am determined to _________.

4. I have no intention of _________.

1. April is a good time to  make sure you are on track to be organized for next year's tax season.

2.This time last year,  i was working on taxes, just like this year (actually, the accounting friend is supposed to be doing it, but i get calls).

3. I am determined to   make the best out of the current situation that i can.  The people who will let me work have, some of them, offered extra jobs with things i don't usually have time to do when i'm there, so i can perhaps make up for those who won't or can't let me come.

4. I have no intention of   getting behind on the bills if i can in any way help it.

  9. April is a good time to practice social distancing.
This time last year I was filling Easter baskets and making plans for our family Easter Dinner.
I am determined to weather this storm and emerge from it unscathed.
I have no intention of flaunting the rules put in place to keep us safe.

  13. Link and Dansig are so precious! I love seeing kitties enjoying each others' company. And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I'm lucky in that my mom does my taxes for me. She claims she enjoys doing taxes, and I really appreciate her help. I am sending prayers to all those whose work and income has been affected by this pandemic. I'm lucky in that the company I work for is considered essential, so I have next to no chance of losing my job or income even during these hard times. Prayers to you!
