Not So Sudden As It Seems, a Random and Happy Tuesday Post

***********************************

It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus

Here’s the random for this week.  Brother-in-Law has been renting a room in someone’s home for about 10 years.  Said someone (landlord) is about 70.  This someone (me!) has been telling B-i-L to consider finding another place to stay before landlord gets in a position where he can’t have the renters (there are 4) in the place any more.

Guess what happened!  Landlord realizes he is starting to show early symptoms of dementia, has set all of his affairs in order, and B-i-L needs a new place to live.  Now.

While praying about finding him a safe place that charges a reasonable amount, i suddenly remembered our church is partners with another in running a low-income housing unit for those over age 62.  One of my Sunday morning prayer partners is on the board, and agreed to put in a good word for him.

B-i-L is applying, and meanwhile, will be camping out in our library.  As i told Sweetie, i want him safe from the elements, but not so safe that he decides he just wants to stay here.

Dr. D is out of town again, and managed to leave me a list so long it will take until early next month (at least).  The good thing is, she will forget most of it by next week, when she will be back.  Let’s just say i cleaned the fridge and got rid of tons of old food without her interference and leave it at that.

Now for some happy animal pictures, and a funny, courtesy an email from Grandma:

Have a fabulous Tuesday, everyone!
