There is nothing to do but do it, though, and hope for a diagnosis soon. Thanks for your good wishes.

Hilary, we are trying, and i hope you stay warm, too.messymimihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10649529601786689712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-917428205224357542.post-79374278433094229622011-02-04T22:21:16.281-06:002011-02-04T22:21:16.281-06:00I think most of us are in the "hoping for spr...I think most of us are in the "hoping for spring" stage. My job is about 30 miles south of our farm and it is registering in at about 35 right now. Whoa -- a heat wave! ;-)

We did have some accumulated sleet from the other night, but the rest has been rain and freezing rain...LOTS of it...almost non-stop. It is pouring here, I'm going to wait just a bit before going out to find lunch.

Our bathroom heater (propane) went out Wed. night. We only have two in the whole house (one in living room and one in BR). Spent the whole day trying to find one and finally did, then sweetie and I got it installed. (My cats were very happy, too! They love to be in the warm bathroom with me.) Ahhh...could bathe once again! I missed a day of work, but have some warmth.

Every roof edge at our place has icicles. I hope the temps rise some (supposed to) so the commute home will not be treacherous.

I know exactly what you mean about absolutely freezing one's behind off...the farm work has been brutal and I feel so stiff once I get inside.

Long comment, but was just commiserating...I know we don't live too far apart!

I hope Phil was right, too.

Take care and hope there are lots of adoptions this weekend. I'm praying for it.
Luv,
PGPonyGirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00174668213813523496noreply@blogger.com
