Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.
He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute). Then add your link!
One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do. So come and join us in Feline Friday.
What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!
Ms. G's cats have boxes.

| Boxes, and a toy. There's also a piece of brown paper, not shown at this angle. |
Ms. G needed two boxes for her purposes and had me put them by the pantry closet.
When we can back, some cat had claimed one of the boxes, even with all the others nearby.

| Note the toy, put in there to claim ownership. |
Wonder who it could be -- any ideas, April?

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. I feel like ______________________________ whenever I think about _______________.
2. January is a good month to _____________________.
3. _________ is nonnegotiable in my life.
4. I could give up _________ as long as _________.
1. I feel like going back in time and giving myself a swift kick whenever I think about how much easier some things could have been if i'd taken the right college courses and gotten a good degree.
2. January is a good month to stay in bed and keep warm if you are in the Northern Hemisphere.
3. Prayer, scripture study, and church is are nonnegotiable in my life.
4. I could give up me and my Sweetie having two cars and only share one as long as the one we had was newish and in great condition.

April knows a good box when she sees one...and take the opportunity!
ReplyDeletewe are totally with you for januar... it is a tricky month, we better stay in bed and eat ice cream...
ReplyDeleteAll boxes are for cats, and clever of April to put her toy in the one she wanted. The magnolia is beautiful.
ReplyDeletewith your fill ins, you covered most of your life, good job and you always have great fillings. the mood today here, had me filling them in siletnly in my head with unprintable things
ReplyDeleteThe magnolia tree is a cheer up knowing what storm is coming this way for most of the country. And of course every cat wants a box so don't try to hide it from one, lol.
ReplyDeleteI thought I saw a fence. Where is it? Was it yesterday?
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
April is such a cutie and hooray for cats and boxes. Those are good fill-in answers too.
ReplyDeleteEls gats com els infants, per a quรจ comprar-lis joguines, si s'ho passen millor amb una capsa. ;-)
ReplyDeleteBones frases.
Petonets, Mimi!
April is beautiful. Thank you for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins. great answers. You are an excellent writer, but not sure how to make a living doing it. Nice to see something blooming somewhere. XO
ReplyDeleteApril made sure she picked a good box.
ReplyDeleteShe is pretty! Have a great day and happy weekend.
I'm with you where January is concerned! Bring on the magnolia blossom!
ReplyDeleteDon't give yourself that swift kick, you are who you are because of the choices you've made, and you are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteCats and boxes...always so cute as they choose the right one. Great fill ins. I could have written #1, too. I always regretted not getting a college degree. We decided last year to get rid of my car (it needed costly repairs) and just have one. It's working out but we are both retired so we don't have to worry about getting to jobs.
ReplyDeleteHi April may we soon be in the midst of a beautiful spring April too.
ReplyDeleteI love the magnolia tulip
Hugs Cecilia

ReplyDelete"Toy added to claim ownership", I love that. I've heard of dogs doing that but not cats.
ReplyDeleteHumans don’t understand dogs get the right of first refusal when it comes to boxes
ReplyDeleteWe're sure April doesn't know anything about it...MOL...That's an early Magnolia, isn't it, Mimi? We loved your fill-ins. We have two cars too, but Granny hardly drives, only when the hubby isn't around...MOL...Double Pawkisses for a Happy Day to all of you๐พ๐ฝ๐
ReplyDeleteWell, the boxes were left unsnoopervised, we'd have done the same! MOL Pawesome fill-ins, and totally get #1, the P.A. would have done a lot of things differently work wise given that opportunity. Happy Caturday and we hope more boxes are available soon! MOL
ReplyDeleteSo many fun boxes to choose from!
ReplyDeleteHaha! We love this. If i *wasn't* April, some kitty is very smart to reserve that box with that toy. :-D
ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "Ayyy, it seems like it might be some kind of law of the universe that any open box will end up with a cat in it if left unattended for any amount of time."
ReplyDeleteOona: "That absolutely is a law of the universe and all the other laws of the universe derive from it."
Lulu: "Really? How?"
Oona: "Pfft, as if Oona is going to tell YOU."
