Laid Back Cat (Feline Friday), Friendly Fill-Ins, and Nature Friday

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.

He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she has entrusted it to me.

Feline Friday is simple to join.  All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute).  Then add your link!

One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do.  So come and join us in Feline Friday.

What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!

McKenna is one laid back cat.

McKenna, before i opened her catio door.

McKenna, after i opened the catio door to her litter box.

McKenna, while i cleaned her litter box.

McKenna, when i opened her main catio door.

McKenna, finally realizing someone is cleaning her catio.

McKenna, trying to get up and be a little hospitable.

McKenna, wondering if getting up is worth it this early.

McKenna, sniffing the food to see if i've put anything different from the usual.

McKenna, after realizing the food is the same.

McKenna, after receiving scritches.

McKenna, settling in to make biscuits.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. My plans for June include ____________ and ____________________.

2. __________________ is the bravest thing I have ever done.

3. I swear by _________ as a cure for _________.

4. As if _________ wasn’t bad enough, _________.

1. My plans for June include   working   and   not much else.

2. Becoming a parent   is the bravest thing I have ever done.

3. I swear by   gargling with warm salt water   as a cure for   a mild sore throat.

4. As if _________ wasn’t bad enough, _________.   I'm not even going to try this one, it's like inviting something bad to happen!

Nature Friday is hosted by LLB in Our Backyard.  Simply post a picture of the natural world, and link up!

More crepe myrtles are blooming.  It's as if they are doing it a few at a time to keep the show going.

  4. Hi McKenna, what a purrty kitty you are, nice to meet ya! I especially liked reading that today is "National Attitude Day", however let it be known that I have an attitude (A Big One) each and every day ... aren't all we cats entitled to our "attitudes"? I meow paws up for that!

Our Crepe Myrtles are blooming too. Normally they don't bloom until July but I guess this hot horrid dry weather fooled them into thinking it was July
