Cake Distribution System, a Random and Happy Tuesday Post

***********************************

It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus.

Ms. S has agreed until my new Monday morning job starts in September, i will go to her house around 9am every other Monday.

This week, they were supposed to leave for the annual summer trip to see family, but weather concerns, car trouble, and family who needed to change the arrangements made them postpone it until next month, so i did arrive at nine.

When i asked if this was okay with Mr. D, who likes to sleep in, she told me, "Don't you worry about him!  I'll get him up at quarter to nine and send him to the casino and he'll be just fine."

Indeed, when i arrived yesterday, he was getting ready to do just that.  He later came home with a bit more than he left with, plus cake.

When he goes to the casino on certain Mondays or Tuesdays (he only goes once a week, and which day can vary) he will sometimes come home with a bonus from the casino for being a regular there, and the bonus is in the form of individual desserts, usually cakes.

He and Ms. S have a very intricate cake distribution system.

"Now, last time you brought red velvet to James, but it's also Marg's favorite, so this time you have to bring it to her and James can get the Boston creme cake," she will say.

He may come back with, "Well, what about Lars and Ginny?"

She'll answer, "If you pick the chocolate fudge, they can share the lemon pound cake, or the other way.  But they have to share since Ginny is on a diet and told me to only bring them one to share."

Then he says, "But, Lars isn't on a diet, what if he wants a whole one?"

Ms. S's answer?  "Well, tough, he has to share, that's all!"

It's such fun to hear them making these arrangements, and once they've agreed, off goes Mr. D to spread cake cheer to the neighbors.

How about some funnies, since i can't give you cake.

Have a blessed and beautiful Tuesday, everyone!
