What Am I, a Pillow? (Feline Friday), Friendly Fill-Ins, and Nature Friday

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.

He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she has entrusted it to me.

Feline Friday is simple to join.  All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute).  Then add your link!

One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do.  So come and join us in Feline Friday.

What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!

Kittens can sleep in the strangest ways, and some of them don't seem to mind being squashed.

From this angle above, you can't even tell he's under there!

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. I tend to forget _______________________.

2. I celebrate the 4th of July by _____________________.

3. I was a fan of _________ before it became popular.

4. I see _________ in my future.

1. I tend to forget   anything which is not written down or part of a well-established routine.

2. I celebrate the 4th of July by   working, babysitting, or, if it's on a Sunday, going to church.  Yes, i am boringly predictable in some things, and people want their houses cleaned or their kids watched even on a holiday.

3. I was a fan of   herbal or home remedies   before it became popular.

4. I see   finding a new client   in my future.

Nature Friday is hosted by LLB in Our Backyard.  Simply post a picture of the natural world, and link up!

These two trees have grown so closely they are now intertwined, a crepe myrtle and, I believe, a water oak.

  1. It is a compliment to be told that you are a better pillow than a door.

  2. Beautiful kitties, top to bottom, plus an amazingly structured tree! We appreciate the "no plastic bags" day. Maryland has been that way for a long time, either you bring your own bag, or PAY for paper! All states need to adopt that! Happy Feline Friday ...

  16. Cute and sweet kittens! Are some of them meezers or meezer mixes? They do look like they might be. I hope they all find wonderful homes.

I agree with your fill ins, and I have been a huge fan of alternative and herbal medicine for YEARS! What I have noticed is that some of the more popular ones, (Nowadays; not in the past), have greatly increased in price.

Those trees are in love with eachother, wrapped around with love...

Quebec City is a beautifully preserved place, at least the old original parts. It has such an old world feel to it, just like being in Europe somewhere.

  19. I love seeing kittens and puppies all snuggled close for sleeping, it's comfort and reassurance that they are not alone. I remember the twins holding hands to sleep when they were newborns.
