Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.
He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she has entrusted it to me.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute). Then add your link!
One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do. So come and join us in Feline Friday.
What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!
Mr. Gray is semi-feral and Ms. G takes very good care of him. Charlie Girl is the cat two doors down and she's not feeling her best, she has cancer, but she is still enjoying mooching as much food as she can from the neighborhood feral feeding stations.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. I plan to _____________________ and _____________________ in October.
2. _____________________was the highlight of my week.
3. ‘Tis the season for ________.
4. Though a lot of people like _________, I can’t stand it.
1. I plan to work, babysit, take care of Grandma when i can, get my new insurance policy in place, and try to figure out when we can have an appointment with our financial person in October.
2. Getting to watch Little Ben for a while Sunday and Annie on Tuesday was the highlight of my week.
3. ‘Tis the season for wondering when the hot weather is going to break in the swamps (we have worn shorts at Christmas sometimes, so there's no telling).
4. Though a lot of people like mushrooms, I can’t stand (it) them.

Nature Friday is hosted by LLB in Our Backyard. Simply post a picture of the natural world, and link up!
I've shown this plant before, it's called a cat's whiskers.

Charlie Girl and Mr. Gray make such a wonderful duo!
ReplyDeleteWere you able to get the ferrelI cats to the vet?
ReplyDeleteMe parece una conversación interesante la de los dos gatitos, jeje. Las macetas me encantan. Besitos desde Bitácora literaria España

ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam and Teddy
Que bom que qa Sra G é boa cuidadora e adorei os gatos e a natureza se mostrando lindamente! beijos, chica
ReplyDeleteI miss my cats. I have no photos of them, though, because we had them before we had kids, 42 years ago!
ReplyDeleteCat's Whiskers looks like a type of Basil. So sorry to hear about Charlie Girl, but at least she is still able to eat.
ReplyDeleteCharlie girl knows the route and as long as she's still here that's terrific. Love the picture of the plant. We're going to have temperatures in the 30s starting Sunday night so I'm not wearing shorts, lol.
ReplyDeletePoor Charlie Girl. Mr. Gray is very handsome. Those were good fill-in answers.
ReplyDeleteFunny plant with a fitting name. I see the whiskers!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome to some of my lower temperatures, if you take the darkness and drearyness going with them. Temperatures now 16 Celcius (divide by 5, times 9 ... mumble, mumble; add 32 = around 60 F) I sit here writing, at almost 2 pm with artificial lights on to see the letters on my keyboard and it's raining from a grey, lowhanging mass of clouds outside. You're welcome to it.
Cute kitties, how sad that one has cancer. Thank you for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am glad you got to spend time with the kids. XO
ReplyDeleteCool plant. Purrs for Charlie Girl.
