Several months ago, Ms. G got a storage unit "temporarily" so she could put things in it she wanted to sell online, getting them out of her house or keeping them out of her house as people have given her stuff they don't want to deal with when she helps them sell their house and they move.
In my experience of watching people with these units, once you start, you don't stop, it's what the storage unit places are counting on, it becomes a way to put off decisions for a "later" that never comes.
Sure enough, while her collection over there has grown instead of diminished much, she has now decided she simply needs a smaller unit to cut the costs because once she has an inventory, she's going to get rid of it all.
Thus, yesterday was spent moving everything from one storage unit into another, "taking a moment" everlastingly to take pictures and measurements of many items so they can go up for sale soon.
Please note, such pictures and measurements have been made before, and "soon" has not come yet, any more than "later" has.
I must admit, it is now organized and neatly packed and almost everything can be gotten to by simply moving one or two items, but it will be interesting to see whether any items go or if, heaven forbid, we're going to end up having to move everything back to a larger unit because she got more stuff "temporarily."

It's Angel Sammy's Poetry Day! This week's image and my poem:
Don't dis my chicken,
she's a happy bird,
my favorite pet
I give you my word.
She keeps me company
at the table, never begs,
and best part of all
she gives me eggs!
