I'd rather give and receive hand made gifts anyhow! Gifts from the heart not the pocketbook!
Have a wonderful day!Kathe W.https://www.blogger.com/profile/06781645436343424010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-917428205224357542.post-43883627137578915922014-11-26T14:31:44.857-06:002014-11-26T14:31:44.857-06:00Thank you, Mimi. Here in Oregon, a few big retailers are open; they're places I very seldom frequent. In Maine, where I spent the first 32 years of my life, laws prevent stores from opening on Thanksgiving Day. Blue laws, I think they're called. But greed is everywhere, and I'm sure these store owners would open if they could. When I was a kid, only pharmacies and small convenience stores were allowed open on Sunday there, but that has changed. Anyway, sorry for the novel of a comment.. you and yours have a wonderful Thanksgiving! :)Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16005482538480063372noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-917428205224357542.post-35348717637492031102014-11-25T22:33:50.232-06:002014-11-25T22:33:50.232-06:00agreed!! Aside from the essential and emergency services, everyone deserves to have the day to spend with family .. and if you can't see your family, or don't like them, do something constructive or helpful with your time.
My hubby rarely gets these days due to his job - believe me, if he had the choice we would not be shopping!LA Botcharhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09045857399816360885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-917428205224357542.post-38240840888794519502014-11-25T10:12:55.893-06:002014-11-25T10:12:55.893-06:00They won't see me either.
