Ouch

#2 Son is back to his favorite summer activity -- picking blackberries and making pies.

Who ever thought that would be dangerous? Well, it is when you drop the marble rolling pin on your toe and break it.

Two broken bones in one house.

Another ouch was helping Little Girl bathe and change clothes. She wanted to stay in the same shirt until her arm is healed, however long that takes. Our noses said no. We did manage to do it with just a tiny bit of discomfort.

Two of her friends came over this afternoon to "help" her. They proceeded to have her cook for them! I came out to the kitchen to see what was going on, and she was fixing them lunch! I told them that next time they needed to ask me. Some help. Amazing what kids will do.
