I have created monsters.

The kittens that still have the runs, to keep them from dehydrating, have continued to eat from the bottle instead of being weaned to drink their formula from a bowl.

All of them eat solid food, and all of them drink water from the bowl. It is just the sick ones, that are also the smallest, and a couple of which were dehydrating to the point of needing subcue fluids, that still demand a bottle. Vociferously. Ferociously. Pushing each other out of the way, climbing my legs as I cringe in pain, needle like claws digging in, me yelling, "I am not a jungle gym!" to no avail.

Brat kittens. Sweet, cute, deceptive. Don't get me started about keeping them off the table. I have to keep the squirt bottle handy now, too.

Ah, well, those sweet little eyes, those plaintive voices -- I guess I will keep working with them. They are knuckleheads, and I am an old softy.
