Silly Sunday is hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus. It's easy to laugh and link up!
The kids have been outdoors a lot lately, since the rain ended. #2 Son especially used this weekend off work to spend time at the creek. Little Girl likes to lie outdoors in the clover and watch the bees, and make chains of clover flowers.
Their love of being outside reminds me of a joke.
Ol' Boudreaux went to Doc Gauthier for his annual check-up.
Doc Gauthier ax him, "Boudreaux, how you do it? Here you be 75, an' you be in better shape dan me, an' I'm only 50!"
An' Boudreaux, he say, "Mais, I t'ink it's because when me an' Clothile marry over 50 years back, we done made a agreement. If'n we had a fight, she go in de kitchen to cool down, an' I go outdoors. An' we stuck wit' dat ever since."
Doc Gauthier t'ink about dat a minute, and he say, "Well, I guess dat do keep down de stress."
"Stress? What stress?" Boudreaux ax. "Mais, it may keep down stress, but I t'ink it's because de outdoor life be healthier!"
