Mikey, #1 Son's big part Maine coon cat, might be one of the laziest cats i've ever met. Not only does he not like to bother grooming himself -- he lets EnigmaSissy do it for him -- he is too lazy to get up and go to the food bowl to eat.At the bottom of the stairs where the main food bowl sits. |
He hooks pieces with his claws! |
The pics are a bit blurry because he stops doing it if you get too close, but he lies near the bowl, reaches in and scoops a piece of food and brings it over to where he is lying, and eats lying down!

ReplyDeleteCats are so funny. George did that until recently. I think it was a phase for him. He was hunting it.
ReplyDeleteSmart kitty. Have a cute Friday my good friend.
ReplyDeleteCruisin Paul

ReplyDeleteHave a purrfect Feline Friday. ☺
LMAO hilarious and clever :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a shortcuttastic weekend :-)
We've always had great luck with Maine Coons. Certainly in the Top 10 cats of all time for us. I've never known a lazy one, but knowing cats, there's always a first time. They're as individual as humans.
ReplyDeleteMikey likes to eat laying down? He isn't a Maine coon; he's a Roman.
ReplyDeleteI swear I'd eat lying down if it wouldn't get the food all over me and everything else. LOL!
ReplyDeletehilarious!
ReplyDeleteThat cat is too clever. LOL
ReplyDeleteI love your facts and the day's history.
Love it! My daughter had a cat that did that too! Too much trouble to move closer to the dish. LOL Toby is part Maine Coon too, and is going to be a BIG boy!
ReplyDeleteOurs has found that a treat hidden in a long container is fun to play with, so I see a similar situation in my future!
