Silly Sunday: Deduct Amok

Silly Sunday is hosted by Sandee, of Comedy Plus.

Silly Sunday is the place to come for weekly laughs.  The rules are simple, just have fun.

This is a great opportunity to get to know other bloggers and have a laugh or two in the process.

Here is how it works: Laugh and Link Up!
  1. Post a joke.
  2. Link Up with the URL to your joke in the Linky Tools Widget.
  3. Read my joke.
  4. Leave a comment to tell me how much you enjoyed my joke.
  5. Try and visit a few others participating in Silly Sunday.
  6. Go to Sandee's site, linked above, and get the Silly Sunday code for your blog, too!
As is typical, our tax person, the one who is a great friend of Grandpa, has left our taxes until the very last possible moment.  How we are going to get it in on time will be a story, i am sure.

As Boudreaux will tell you, though, make sure you story be straight, you don' wan' mess wit' de IRS.

Boudreaux remember what happen sever'l year ago to Aucoin.  He an' Aucoin an' Thibodeaux did de count o' de money aft' de church service ever' week.  When dey done finish de count, an' rollin' all de coin, Aucoin allus wrote de church a check fo' de amount o' de money.  De church jes' had to deposit dat one check, an' Aucoin keep de coins an' bills, sayin' it be savin' him a trip to de bank to get his wife de money fo' when she go to make groceries.

Den one Sunday Aucoin din't show up, an' Thibodeaux ax Boudreaux, "Where be Aucoin?"

"He be in de federal prison!" say Boudreaux.

"Mais!  What done happen?" Thibodeaux ax.

"All dem times he count de church money wit' us, an' den write a check and keep de money, he done try to count de checks as a charity deductin' wit' de IRS, an' it fin'ly din't work!"
