Kittens and Fill-Ins

Feline Friday is hosted by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is...

1) post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (They may be silly or cute)

2) go to Steve's page, linked above, then on the menu bar click on the Feline Friday tab to get the code

3) paste the code under your cat picture

4) add your name and link

That’s all there is to it! Be sure to check back every so often and visit all the Feline Friday bloggers. Also, please leave a nice comment on their blogs. Nasty comments will be deleted!

Kittens don't stay in the shelter very long.

They will be adopted very fast!

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by McGuffy Ann Morris of McGuffy's Reader. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

My fill-ins for the statements are underlined:

Week 46: March 24, 2017

1. In the Spring, I look forward to ____________.

2. I would love to have a _________________ party.

3. Few know this about me, but ________________________.

4. No one ___________________.

1. In the Spring, i look forward to sunshine and flowers.  Even more, though, i do not look forward to the swamp heat i know is coming.

2. I would love to have a birthday party for each of the children like i did when they were little.  It was so simple then.

3. Few know this about me, but i would drive like the "Little Old Lady From Pasadena" if i thought i could get away with it.

4. No one should be allowed to force others to convert to their religion, especially by using terror and causing mayhem.  Believe what you want, tell me what you believe in a civilized manner, do not demand that i convert.

  5. Too bad adult cats aren't desired as much as kittens.

  6. Very cute kittens, it would be nice if someone adopted all 3 together. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, you always have great answers.I completely agree on #4.I hope you have a great weekend!

  7. No one can resist kittens! It's good they grow up or I would want at least a dozen of them! But when it comes to adopting an older adult that has been surrendered or abandoned makes such an awesome, loving pet. My heart always goes out to them!

If only we could keep Spring and Fall and do away with the two seasons in the middle! :-) I miss children's birthday parties the way they used to be, without a zillion dollars spent and a guest list of 50 or more! Ours were simple and fun and festive and long remembered! I am laughing to think of you zooming down the highway like that! :-) And yes, on #4... Amen, amen! Respecting the rights of others!!

  8. KITTIES!!!! :) My heart melts at the sight of kittens. :)

I love spring for the same reasons you do - and when I lived in PA, also had that dread of the cloying heat that always arrived immediately after spring had sprung (and sometimes we'd bypass spring altogether and just race right into the heat of summer). Another reason I'm so very glad I've moved back to my home state of Washington - we actually get four legitimate seasons and don't have many days of extreme heat in the summer! Of course I've probably just jinxed our summer...heh!!

OH YES! It was so much simpler to do the kids' birthday parties when they were younger. I'd love to do those again.

Your answer to #3 cracked me up!!

AMEN to your answer to #4 - I agree with you 1000%! :) Have a great weekend!

  9. I just love the "cat hammocks" you have at the shelter. They look so comfy. Happy Birthday Peyton! I agree with all your fill-ins. It's kind of a shame things were easier long ago. Now everything costs so much... Have a great weekend!

  10. You are right, no one should be forced to convert to another religion. Most Muslims we know are very kind and tolerant of other religions. I think that there are extreme factions in all religions.

  11. I agree. We should all be free to believe what we believe and share our beliefs without being blasted for it. There's a difference between sharing and badgering. Some folks haven't learned that lesson yet.

Amen to your #1 answer! We've already reached 100 degrees at least once this year and that was in February!

I would love to be in Macon, Georgia, for that Cherry Blossom Festival. Just think of all the beautiful flowers and photo opportunities!

    Have a blessed weekend. :)

  12. awesomely adorable kitties! Thanks for all you do!

  13. Kid's birthday parties are major productions these days. Sweet kitties. I don't understand the need some have to go overboard to convince others that their religion is the only one. I think folks should tell what they believe and why and let others make up their own minds.

  14. ahhh, sunshine and flowers.. and kittens!! :)
Much nicer than ice, snow and rain that is our current days.
#4 - so true!! Each of use has to use our Free Will to find their own way. You can't take it from someone.

  15. Oh, my gosh, are those babies adorable. The season will be starting here soon. your answers are great, Mimi. I tend to drive a little fast on the backroads; I have to reign myself in sometimes. I agree about religion. Totally. Hugs!
