As noted before, our vacation is coming up soon. Grandma and Grandpa are part owners of a condo on a Florida beach, and so that's where we go.
Someone i was talking to at work the other day asked me if we fly for vacation, and no, we don't. It's not that far of a drive, and i am terrified of flying, anyway.

An' she look at Boudreaux, who be him 'bout old 'nough to be her père, an' she lean back an' say, "Mais, no, I don't be dat scared!"

ReplyDeleteI hate flying too it makes my arms tired ;-)
Have a tanfastic Silly Sunday :-)
I love your cute Sunday stories! :-) I used to love flying places years ago, they have now made the check-in process so complicated and stressful that it's not much fun, and you have to be there too early to get thru the line in time. It is my opinion that the bad guys will find a way to cause problems no matter what safeguards are put in place, but I'm not sure that I am any more safe on the highways with inattentive drivers on cellphones! I love road trips though, and with a destination like a condo in Florida, that sounds like the perfect drive! :-)
ReplyDeleteI do not mind flying but I also do not mind staycations either.
ReplyDeleteLove your joke. I am NOT a fan of flying and probably would be that scared.
ReplyDeleteThat is a good one.
