Jungle Cat! (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

The shelter occasionally gets a purebred cat, generally a Siamese or Persian.  We've had the odd Maine Coon, Ragdoll, American Curl, and even Munchkins.  This handsome fellow was our first Bengal:

Bengals are a hybrid of Asian leopard cats and domestic cats.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by McGuffy Ann Morris of McGuffy's Reader. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

My fill-ins for the statements are underlined:

  8. The Bengal is gorgeous. I wonder what their personalities are like. We have a Maine Coon who is a sweetheart to everyone, my daughter has a Munchkin and a Ragdoll who won't come near you until they see you for days. You never know what you're going to get with a cat.

  11. Bottle feeding the little kitties is hard work at times, but so very worth it. And so very sad when they pass away anyway. We've been there many times. That Bengal is beautiful. :)

  13. I cannot imagine a Bengal in a shelter. That has to be so hard on him. Oh, Mimi, you know that I am right there with you on #4. Thankfully, I have lost very few babies. You are so right. They are so worth it to help. HUGS.
