Willing to Share (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-In Fun

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

Mikey says, "Hey, buddy, these nibblets are really good!  You ought to try some!"

Yes, the Halloween decorations are coming out already.

***********************************

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by McGuffy Ann Morris of McGuffy's Reader. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

My fill-ins for the statements are underlined:

Week 73: September 29, 2017

1. I am far too _________________.

2. To save money, I _______________.

3.                          matter(s).

4.                      makes me think                          .

1. I am far too content with wearing jeans and t-shirts for work to care that 20-somethings and younger believe i'm too old to wear jeans and t-shirts.

2. To save money, i work to make things last (e.g. wash clothes only in cold water and line dry so they last longer), make do with what i have instead of buying the next great thing (e.g. i kept my old cell phone even after it could no longer update and only got a new one when someone else very kindly paid for it), and try to buy necessities only most of the time.

3. How you behave in private or when you think no one is looking matters.

4. Seeing Little Girl already pulling out the Halloween decorations makes me think of days when i used to dress them up to trick or treat.  It also makes me think that cooler weather will be here soon, and we are all so glad!

  3. Aww on the cat. I love to watch them eat.

Love the Halloween cat. We don't decorate here.

Wearing what is comfortable is key. If jeans and t-shirts fit that bill then go for it.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday. ☺

  6. I think Halloween decor is fine, now. It is Autumn!
Hey! I wear jeans and T-shirts! Why not? Be true to yourself. And, what do kids know? They have never been our age to understand it. I agree with you on saving money. I totally get it.
How one behaves when alone does matter. God sees me...and I know my Grampy does, too! No matter how old I get, It matters. YES to cooler weather!
Thanks for your notes. They always make me smile. HUGS, my friend.

  7. If you lived in Texas, no one would think anything good or bad about you wearing jeans at any age. It is just the way it is. I used to raise my hand at college and say, "I have a stupid question", and would proceed to ask my question. Most students won't do that. I had a professor at The University of South Carolina, Dr. Porter McLauren, who had just been one of the three professors to invent 3D television. I would just blurt out questions in a class of over 500 students. I was the only student who ever asked him a question in class. He later would go on to invent the 3D imaging now used in Cat scans and MRIs. I am so glad I asked him questions.
His answers to one of my questions once would scare most people to death.

  8. Great answers but especially the one about what you do in private. Along a similar line, I used to say to junior nurses that if they found out every conversation they had for the next week was going to be recorded, would they need to change what they say? (Hopefully not).

  9. Cute kitty. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers, as always. One is never too old for jeans, I am too fat for them though :) I hope you have a nice weekend! XO
