ReplyDeleteI'm sorry for the late visit. My plate is super duper full this week. This is one time that I really want the days to zip by so I can get this behind me. I hate that feeling, too. :(
My tubal procedure went well. My hearing is muffled. The doctor said that's normal. He used larger tubes than usual with the hopes of keeping them in place longer. I did picked up something in the hospital and now have bronchitis-like symptoms. It's not real bad but bad enough leaving me fatigued and coughing at times. I believe you mentioned being interested in the Eustachian tube dilation procedure. Don't be surprised if your insurance will not cover it. BC/BS won't pay for it just yet because it's considered "investigative" meaning there's not enough data to back it's claims. It's really expensive. I hope if I need tubes again, which it sounds like I may, then at that time we can re-evaluate the need to shell out that kind of money should our insurance still not cover it.
I like your Sparks quote. Sometimes when you take a chance to change, often times it's others who won't give you a change to change which is truly sad. That's when you have to stand steadfast in your resolve to prove the naysayers wrong.
