Merry, Happy, and Random Christmas Tuesday

It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus.  

First Things First:

Yesterday was lovely, i got to sleep in!  Then i got to putter around the house and do things that just needed doing that i don't often have time to get to.

We were able to take #1 Son to work early and got to the church in plenty of time for choir practice and the evening services.  Sweetie sang in one, and we watched the nursery area doors for the second service.

Of course, both services were SRO with C&E onlies.  If you aren't sure what that means:

A few churches in town were having trouble with squirrels getting into attics and chewing up wiring.  One decided to try to simply to block their entry, but it didn't work.  One had them humanely trapped and removed, but they came back.

A third church had them baptized and made them church members, and now they only see them at Christmas and Easter!

Another version of that joke adds that there was a synagogue that also had trouble so they made the squirrels members and had them circumcised and never saw them again.

All joking aside, i wish everyone a blessed and beautiful Merry Christmas.
