Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. I believe ____________.
2. I need to go Marie Kondo* on my _________________________.
3. It does no good to _________.
4. I find _________ to be a walk in the park.
1. I believe the Nicene Creed, and that the most important thing is to deeply and truly love (meaning caring more about the good of the other than the good of the self).
2. I need to go Marie Kondo* on my closet.
3. It does no good to fuss and worry, it doesn't change the outcome but it makes life miserable.
4. I find finding reasons to be grateful to be a walk in the park. Once i started to practice it, it became a habit.

Well done for getting that shot of him heheh!
ReplyDeleteI liked your fill-ins especially no.3
Have a fill-intastic weekend :-)
He looks very comfy there. I am glad you could get the photo without him hiding from the camera.
ReplyDeletere. #4: I got in a similar habit many years ago when I was writing near-daily letters to a very dear, very ill family member. Not wanting these letters to be "same ol', same ol'", I learned to see life in a way that finds the amusing and/or interesting.
ReplyDeleteI did it to help someone else but the longest-term benefit was for me, really...
Mimi,
ReplyDeleteFussing and worrying over situations that are out of one's control does no good. What happens, happens! That's a hard thing to not do [worry] but once you let go and let God deal with these things then life is manageable and happier.
A grateful heart is one that sees the blessings all around in good and bad times. :)
Have a good weekend, my friend!
Good sneak on getting that shot of Horizon. Adorable.
ReplyDeleteI love all your answers and especially #4. It's so you.

ReplyDeleteHorizon is so handsome! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Your #3 reminds me of a movie quote that I really like, which essentially indicates that "worrying means you suffer twice". I need to keep that in mind. Have a wonderful day!
