Already Have Plenty (Cajun Joke) and Sunday Selections

(Because some people like Blogger and some like WordPress, i am putting the same content at both.  If you would prefer to read this on the other site, it is linked here.)

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Yesterday, i needed patience.

Ms. G has been having me do the floors in that rental house, and the last thing she wanted was for me to Mop 'n Glo them.

The stuff is great, but the key is, you cannot oversaturate.  When i first started using it at the house, she kept grabbing the bottle out of my hand and pouring gobs and gobs of it.  No matter how i warned her, she wouldn't stop.

The floors were horribly streaky when they finally dried, which took hours.

It should only take 10-20 minutes for the product to dry, if you use it correctly.

Yesterday, i went back to finish, and she was complaining about the streaks, so i told her i would work on those areas again.  She left (thank heaven) to go get other things done.

When i did it over, using the right amount of product, the floors dried in nothing flat, and they weren't splotchy.

She came back to see the progress, decided one spot needed to be redone, and again grabbed the bottle and went to town with it.

It took me a while to spread it all out properly, as i kept trying to tell her she was using way too much.

There's no reason for me to pray for patience, i get enough exercise of that virtue without asking for more.

Boudreaux be done playing wit' Tee, an' Tee, like all de petit garçons in de world, get him tired o' de game an' want to do som'pin else.

When Boudreaux not go he'p him find som'pin else to do right quick, Tee done get impatient an' start to fuss.

An' Boudreaux say, "Mais, you done gots all de patience you was born wit' 'cause you ain't done never use any of it!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It is now hosted by River at Drifting Through Life

Some of these pictures of Grandma's fairy gardens may be repeats.  She has so many of them, and is always doing more, so i lose track!

  9. I couldn't work for Mrs. G. Why did she hire you if she know how to do stuff properly? Just couldn't work for her. I'd have no patience with her at all.

Love the joke as always. Some people never use it indeed.

  12. I don't seem to have much patience even though I seldom use it. We all have those people in our lives who try our patience. Usually they think they know everything.
