Home Again, Home Again, Jiggety Jog, a Random and Happy Tuesday Post

(Because some people like Blogger and some like WordPress, i am putting the same content at both.  If you would prefer to read this on the other site, it is linked here.)

It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus

This week i would like to begin with my condolences to Stacy for the loss of her beloved father last week.  When my friends lose friends and family members, that's when i really wish i could give out hugs in person.

There's really not a whole lot to blog about right now, since we just got home.  The house was still standing and most everything was ship shape this time.  It was great to get back to our own church, too.

Horizon the cat was hiding under the bed, of course, and probably spent most of our time away under there.  He's afraid of everything, and of us leaving most of all.

Anyway, here we are, ready to tackle the usual, and i hope everyone has a fabulous Tuesday!

  1. My condolences to Stacy. Our blogging friends become very special to us.
Love those cartoons/photos about returning from holiday. They are very true.
And Jazz punishes us for going out for the day - let alone on vacation.

  3. Mimi,

We haven't had too many vacations but I know exactly how you feel upon your return. I agree with you about the hugs but you know the virtual ones are pretty special because it's the folks who live inside your computer that can the painful situation a bit more bearable. It was so nice having the support, love, and prayers of my bloggy friends when my in-laws passed away. They were very much like second parents to me.

I enjoyed your comic relief this morning, especially the kitty meme. I'm telling you if looks could kill that human would be dead. lol Animals are so funny!

    Happy Tuesday, my furriend!

  11. It's always good to be home again, even after the best of holidays. But going back to work … that's a different matter. So glad I'm now retired and don't have to face that reality any more. This is the fifth day I've been home from a short break away and my cat is still ignoring me, she really knows how to hold a grudge.
