My Sister Thinks She's Hiding (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-ins

(Because some people like Blogger and some like WordPress, i am putting the same content at both.  If you would prefer to read this on the other site, it is linked here.)

***********************************

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

My sister thinks she is hiding, but she forgot something:

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. Summer is a good time to ___________________.

2. The most recent _____________ that I _______________________ was ___________________.

3. I thought I would grow out of _________, but I haven’t.

4. I feel annoyed when people ask me _________.

1. Summer is a good time to enjoy being warm before winter comes back.

2. The most recent shift that I cleaned at the shelter was Wednesday, and we had two kitties, one in intake and one in isolation, that wanted to do nothing but turn their water and food over as soon as i'd cleaned their messes and given them fresh supplies.  Yes, i go back tonight, it's still worth it.

3. I thought I would grow out of daydreaming, but I haven’t.

4. I feel annoyed when people ask me to stop and go do something else when i'm in the middle of reading.

  3. I have a niece who used to think she was hiding if she closed her eyes tight. She couldn't see us, so thought we couldn't see her. I think she was two at the time.

  7. Mimi,

I'd say winters in Florida aren't too bad. I know the northern portion can get rather chilly at nights but I'd say it's at least most evenings there it's 10+ degrees warmer, wouldn't you say?

I haven't grown out of daydreaming, either. But who wants to outgrow that? Not me! :)

Have a great weekend, my friend!

  12. Just look at those cute kitties! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I know what you mean about those kitties who dump their water and food. I have one of those at home. I also used to work at a cat clinic where cats were boarded, and one kitty was there frequently, and he was the ultimate water and food dumper. We even tried buying him heavily weighted bowls, but he still managed to turn his cage into an ocean. He loved it, and he was the sweetest thing. Oh, and I also know what you mean about daydreaming. I think it's a wonderful thing when someone doesn't outgrow that. Have a beautiful day!
