What's That? (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

(Because some people like Blogger and some like WordPress, i am putting the same content at both.  If you would prefer to read this on the other site, it is linked here.)

***********************************

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

Caught these two kittens at the shelter looking over their hammock like they were seeing something very interesting indeed.  It almost seemed like they were asking each other:

What do you think that is?  I dunno, what do you think?

Of course, the only thing below them was the cage platform, so i have no idea what had them so fascinated.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. A past event that I would like to see in person is _________.

2. If I were a dog, my breed would be _________.

3. If I came with a warning label, it would say the following: _________.

4. I would want to take _________ with me to a deserted island.

1. A past event that I would like to see in person is the dedication of Solomon's Temple.  It must have been an astounding place.

2. If I were a dog, my breed would be something mixed, and probably pesky.

3. If I came with a warning label, it would say the following: She's Mostly Harmless; generally nuts but not clinically nuts.

4. I would want to take someone smart enough to help me survive with me to a deserted island.

  1. I can't imagine you are pesky, a service dog of some description sounds much more likely.

  2. It's possible the two kitties are fascinated by the cat faces on the blanket lining the cage. maybe wondering why those cats don't get up and play.

  3. The smallest and oddest of things can fascinate cats. I remember Flynn sitting outside the window not moving for a good 5 minutes or more. I went to see what he had found and he was watching ants coming and going from a nest.

  4. You completely took me out with the words, "weekend festival celebrating a traditional carrot dish"
I'll come back and read the rest later, when I'm done giggling.

  12. I swear if anyone thinks they understand and can interpret what cats do they are crazy. To me, that's what makes them so fascinating. Mine are a constant source of entertainment and puzzlement.

  13. What adorable kittens! I love that they have a hammock to enjoy. And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I can really relate to your answer to #2. I love all dogs (and all animals!), but I think there's something extra special about mixed breed dogs. I might be biased, though, because that's what my pup is. Have a beautiful day!
