Zana (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

(Because some people like Blogger and some like WordPress, i am putting the same content at both.  If you would prefer to read this on the other site, it is linked here.)

***********************************

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

This is Zana.  She is five years old and has a heart murmur, so she is on medication.  Because she didn't eat when she first got to the shelter, she is allowed to live in one of the offices instead of a colony room, and we have to note if she is "using the litter box" on her paperwork every day.

Yes, I am eating, I'm glad you approve!

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. I am a stickler for ___________________.

2. By the end of August, I plan to ____________________.

3. _________ is my favorite thing about myself.

4. These days, my biggest priority is _________.

  1. A cat not eating is a bit of a sore point here at the moment. I am very glad that Zana is. And love your fill-ins.

  2. Zana is a cutie. I never used to think of cats and dogs having things like heart murmurs, when I was young. Now I have a cat with IBS, hayfever, anxiety/stress issues; she is doing well though, since I got her and we worked through a few things.

  3. I have been terrible about praying for a long time. I really need to make time for it again. My faith used to be so important to me, and I want to get back to that place.

Zara is very cute! I hope she finds a good home.

  4. Zana is lovely.
It is amazing how a place that has been dry for so long can still bloom when the rain does eventually come.I looked it up and saw the beautiful carpet of flowers.
"In an average year, this desert is a very dry place. Arica, Chile, in the northern Atacama holds the world record for the longest dry streak, having gone 173 months without a drop of rain in the early 20th century".

  5. Good that Zana is eating well. I had long hair but now I cut it short because long grey hair doesn't look good.

  8. Wish you could come by and help us clean. Mom hates cleaning the house, but has to do it at least once a week. The car...maybe every several months, it's a real mess. Funny because Mom is a very neat and orderly type too. TGIF!
