Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.
We got to go back to the shelter this past Wednesday for the morning shift. Most of the cats are still in foster care, all adoptions or people looking to find a pet to adopt are by appointment only, and only one volunteer or volunteer family are allowed in the building at a time, but we're back!

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. I just finished _______________________________.
2. I am hoping to start ______________________________.
3. _________ is my idea of success.
4. When I can’t sleep, I _________.
1. I just finished supper. Let's face it, when your business is cleaning things, you are never, ever finished, you just come to a place to stop for now.
2. I am hoping to start reading blogs to catch up, as i am behind again. See above answer, after all.
3. A life spent loving others is my idea of success.
4. When I can’t sleep, i do a thankful A to Z. You think of something for which you are thankful that starts with A, then B, etc. Seldom do you get through the whole alphabet.
