Growing Accustomed to Her Face (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

***********************************

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

Tripod SissyCat is getting more and more patient with and more tolerant of Coda every time the dog comes to stay for a while:

She's not growling, swiping at her, or running away!

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. _________________________ is a privilege.

2. I was so embarrassed when ________________________.

3. I can’t help but smile when _________.

4. _________ has gotten out of hand.

1. Even being alive   is a privilege.

2. I was so embarrassed when   #1 Son was 6-years-old and was singing "O Little Town of Destrehan" in church instead of the correct words to "O Little Town of Bethlehem" -- i am such a fan of parody songs that he really thought those were the words!  (bad mommy!)

3. I can’t help but smile when   i think of how good the Almighty is.

4. Brother-in-Law's difficulties with figuring out how to use his phone   has gotten out of hand.   He has lost the booklet and cannot figure out how to bring up his contacts, and he only has any contacts because i have put them in for him.  It would be nice if we could sit him down with a 12-year-old who could show him stuff, but then again, what 12-year-old would be willing to coach him on using a flip phone!

  6. Good that the pair has become friends. Sometimes our smartphone is smarter than the user. That is why they are called smartphones. Lol!

  13. Glad SissyCat has gotten braver. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. That is funny about your brother-in-law and the phone- says the lady who can't even text :)

  14. Just when I think your brother in law has figured it all out, he comes up with another issue. I think he just really does not want that phone. My boys used to text their dad, who would call me, read me the text, and I'd have to text them the answer because Hubs couldn't (or didn't want to) figure out how to text.
