Take This Year...Please! (Cajun Joke) and Sunday Selections

***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Yesterday the talk turned to how much we want the political season to be over.  Grandma has had it with political ads when she's watching reruns of Family Matters.

They're also tired of the holding pattern we seem to be in.  The ladies up the street i stopped and spoke to when driving home said the same thing -- when do we get to get on with living?

Boudreaux done be complain to Thibodeaux 'bout how he cain't wait fo' dis year be thru'.

He done say, "Mais!  If'n hindsight be 20/20, ain't it time we made 2020 hindsight?"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It is now hosted by Elephant's Child.

A few of the objects at Ms. PA's house, and more attempts to get the butterfly and the bees in focus:

Haven't seen TV trays like these in a long time.

Yes, it works, they were playing Ella.

All Things Cometh to
He Who Waiteth,
If He Worketh Like HECK
While He Waiteth.

Mostly i kept getting "bee butts"!

  4. Yes, 2020 has FAR outstayed its welcome.
    The Hummels are sweet.
And I've got tray tables almost just like that (except mine have red peonies.) They're so handy, I wish I could figure out a painless way to spiff them up. (One that doesn't include sanding, which I hate!) :-)
