Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.
EnigmaSissyCat let me know that i've been posting too many shelter kitten photos on Feline Friday and not enough of our own grown-up cats. Then she wouldn't look at the camera!

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. I wish I had been alive during ___________________________.
2. My favorite way to have apples is ______________________.
3. I was sad to find out that _________.
4. _________ isn’t rocket science.
1. I wish I had been alive during the time when modern indoor plumbing was starting to become standard. Just modern enough times that i wouldn't be stuck using an outhouse (like just about any other time in history), but none of the current worries we have that are totally peculiar to our age.
2. My favorite way to have apples is fresh off the tree.
3. I was sad to find out that not everyone is a nice person. Some of the children in kindergarten were not nice, and i could not understand why.
4. Cleaning toilets isn’t rocket science. There is an art to it, though. Not a delicate art, but an art nonetheless.

You are so right about toilet cleaning. It is an art, and not one that people are prepared to learn.
ReplyDeleteToilet cleaning as an art, I never saw it that way, only as a tedious task to be done. But then I'm no cleaning artist.
ReplyDeleteAt this very moment, one of my furry rascals, Shama (who looks very similar to EbigmaSissyCat , is trying to take control of my keyboard!! And, she's being quite noisy in her efforts!! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is typical of a cat!
ReplyDeleteI agree about toilet cleaning. I am very particular about where I go, and always take limited cleaning products with me. The first thing I do is check under the rim. Hotels and B&Bs so often seem to forget to clean under there!
I have a feline story to tell you.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Oh dear she doesn't look pleased at all heheh!
ReplyDeleteI liked the replies sadly these days some kids can be like that :-(
Have a cleantastic safe weekend 😷😷😷

Aw on your kitty. She's probably a bit peeved that you've not featured her often enough. She'll get over it.
ReplyDeleteLove all you fill-ins. It's amazing the folks that can't clean a toilet properly. It is an art, but not a hard one.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Big hug. ♥
Ha ha..I think kitty is sulking. She is cute even though she is not happy.

SissyCat is adorable even if she won't look at the camera. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. School is where we learn about meanies, sadly. Have a nice weekend. XO
ReplyDeleteEnigmaSissyCat has quite an attitude. I do have to admit that attitude made me laugh!
ReplyDeleteSissyCat is swee although a bit camera shy. Good answers for the fill in's. The farm and phone sags was interesting. Glad to here your Sweetie's eyes are good for 6 more months. We were not allowed to be mean at school. It wasn't until my senior year of high school I knew mean people. Have a wonderful weekend. HUGS across the miles xo xo xo xo
ReplyDeleteWe don't mind if SissyCat didn't want to look at the camera. She's adorable nonetheless! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Children go to school to learn facts and gain knowledge, but at the same time school is where they often learn about bullies and how kindness isn't a guaranteed thing. What a sad thing to ponder. I hope your week is going wonderfully!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for 2020 to be over, Boudreaux is so right.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Sunday!
