This little one was in the shelter to get fluids multiple times a day as she just wasn't gaining weight properly. She needed a good cleaning, so i gave her one, and then she fell asleep with her little friend. (She has since been reunited with her littermates in the foster home and is doing well.)

ReplyDeleteOh the sweet little kittykins! So glad it's doing better! I remember a little chinchilla baby abandoned by it's mother and how hard we worked to save it. When my son, it's chief caregiver got home from school, it would get so excited.

ReplyDeleteYour poem made me smile - we are all so glad to see the back of winter, aren't we. However, I really do like all four seasons and I miss the sharp distinctions between them that we used to have in the past. (Or is that just an over-dose of nostalgia?)
